Grand Cenote is aptly named. This cenote has some of the most massive rooms and formations of any cenote of the Riviera Maya area. The opening is large enough for three separate swimming areas

Because there is so much to see and such large rooms, this is one of the longest dives as well. The halfway point ends at another opening, so if you don’t have two thirds of your air left at this point, you can abort and end the dive at this point.
